Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has allocated ₦100 million to empower 2,000 youths through innovation and business incubation. The initiative, themed “Creating The Future of Africa Now”, includes a one-week training at the International Conference Centre, Awka, focusing on leveraging technology and digital skills to transform lives.
Flagging off the programme, Deputy Governor Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, lauded the initiative as a strategic move to secure the state’s future through youth empowerment and technological innovation. “The hope of our future is the youth, and innovative technology is the route to that future,” he said.
Miss Chinwe Okoli, the Special Adviser on Innovation and Business Incubation, highlighted the programme as a reflection of Soludo’s commitment to making Anambra a digital hub.
